Day 5 of painkillers. Now down to just one sachet per day. No change in droppings or in behaviour when handling in/out of stable. Hasn't kicked out at anyone since the day the vet was here if being led to/from field. Hopefully that's a sign that the anti-inflammatories are helping somehow. Still doesn't mind grooming or touching/pressing his back. Nor is he reacting when rugs are being changed.
Can lunge on Saturday to see if he's any better then report back to Mark on Monday. 5 sleeps!
